My voice says I can't, I wish I could,
Whilst my mind says I wish you just would,
The words slip out again and again,
As thoughts spin around and around in my brain,
I'm not ... what smart enough, brave enough,
Too busy, too dull, too broken and rough!
My head and my heart may not always agree,
But the truth I must face is to not let fear rule me.
Sometimes what we say isn't really what we mean,
Sometimes we shouldn't stop with just a dream.
