Little me and a tree

Little me and a tree

When I was young I loved to climb
To feel the branches of a tree in my hand
The wind brushing against my face
One hand then one foot, just a little bit higher
I pulled, I scrambled, I even swung
Reaching out to touch the sun
To see the world in front of me
If only I could fly from here
I would then be truly free
